Volume 4, No. 21Welcome to the World of Rabbi Riddle.
Rabbi Riddle Says...
National Committee for Furtherance of Jewish Education

Awake and Sing!
  Protect Yourself!All Aboard!
In the Torah Portion of Beshalach, Moshe Rabbeinu leads the Children of Israel in a song of praise to G-d. Yet the Hebrew words could also be read in the future tense, meaning that Moshe will lead the Children of Israel in the song of the future Redemption! This teaches us about Techias HaMeisim, the Resurrection of the Dead, that will occur in the time of Moshiach.

  • According to Maimonides, belief in the Resurrection is one of the 13 Pillars of our Faith!

  • Every morning, we wake up refreshed. This is a type of Techias HaMeisim!

  • Our sages say that, in many cases, the resurrected relatives will look younger then people living now!

Rabbi Riddle's Kwazy Kwestions:
  1. What rock band is going to play at Techias HaMeisim?
  1. The Grateful Alive!

  Protect Yourself!All Aboard!
