Volume 4, No. 13Welcome to the World of Rabbi Riddle.
Rabbi Riddle Says...
National Committee for Furtherance of Jewish Education

Patience is a Virtue!
Mind Your Manners! Here's a Bright Idea!
The Torah portion of Vayeitzei tells how Yaakov worked 14 years for Lavan in order to marry Rochel. During that time, Lavan made his life miserable. If our forefather Yaakov could have patience under these difficult conditions, we surely can wait patiently for the things we want, too!

  • One of G-d's 13 Attributes of Mercy is patience.

  • Rabbi Pereda once taught the same lesson over and over 400 times until his student knew the answer.

  • King Solomon says, "There is a time for everything under heaven." This teaches us that ultimately G-d controls when things happen!

Rabbi Riddle's Kwazy Kwestions:
  1. Who is a patient person?
  1. Somebody who visits a doctor - person!

Mind Your Manners! Here's a Bright Idea!
