Many Happy Returns!
A Present from our Past!Happy Purim!
In this week's Torah Portion, Mishpotim, we learn many important laws. One of them is to return lost objects to their rightful owners. In Hebrew, this is called Hashovas Avaida. The Torah says, "If you meet your enemy's ox or donkey, you shall surely return it to him."

  • In Jerusalem, there was a "Stone of Lost Objects." There, people who found or lost articles would meet.

  • If you find something, it's a mitzvah to take good care of it until you find the owner!

Rabbi Riddle's Kwazy Kwestions:
  1. What do you lose every time you stand up?
  1. Your lap!
