Get Back To Where You Belong
Be HappyThe End Is Near! And So Is The Beginning!
A person who sins turns away from G-d. Yom Kippur is the time for us to turn back. This process is called Teshuva which means "return". It has 3 parts

  • Regret - A person should feel bad about his misdeeds.
  • Recite - A person should tell Hashem his mistakes and misdeeds.
  • Resolve - A person should try never to make the same mistake again.
  • On Yom Kippur, boys over bar mitzvah and girls over bas mitzvah don't eat or drink, wash, use lotions or wear leather shoes. The reason is that on Yom Kippur, the Jewish people become like Angels!
